My passion for wood working started as a hobby while I was working in the culinary field. In 1998, I decided to pursue wood working full time when I went to work for a small custom furniture shop in Ipswich, MA. We moved to Florida in 2001 where I continued learning new skills by working with experienced cabinet makers and master craftsmen. After almost 8 years in Florida we moved back to Mass where I combined woodworking with the task of remodeling an older home.
My style is influenced by the simple lines of the Shakers and the Arts and Crafts movement. I favor highly figured wood and contrasting colors to give my pieces life. A recent development is the inclusion of Ashfield Stone.
