Katie Rosenblatt spent her childhood along the shore of Connecticut. She grew up in a family full of creative artists including her grandfather, James Caudle who was a very talented sculptor. Katie studied jewelry and metalsmithing at the Rhode Island School of Design where she received her BFA in 2004. Shortly after graduation Katie moved to western Massachusetts where she began working for local artists and setting up her own studio. Katie’s work is organic, textural, simple and sculptural. She is inspired by the environment around her, both man made and natural. In addition to working with metal, Katie loves to draw and paint. She continues to work and develop her jewelry line out of her home studio in Northampton Massachusetts.
