"Twelve years ago I started my used book business in Colrain, Massachusetts, along side a friend's antique business. I soon realized that I wanted to expand and work full time buying and selling used books and ephemera.  I looked in the nearby village of Shelburne Falls for a space and found a location on the second floor at 32 Bridge Street (Bridge Street is the main street in town) which has been my bookshop's home for the last ten years.  The space consists of two rooms; the larger room has brick walls and granite lintels over the large windows.....(it felt like a bookstore or library to me when I first walked into the space).

Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts by Nancy DoleI grew up on a dairy farm in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, and decided at the beginning that I wanted to carry books relating to agriculture.  My shop consists of a general collection but my favorite areas are regional history, agriculture and old technical. I carry some art work and smalls along with a large amount of ephemera.

In the spring, summer and fall the Bridge of Flowers is a destination for visitors to the village of Shelburne Falls.  It is a beautiful flower garden growing on the old trolley bridge that spans the Deerfield River between the towns of Shelburne and Buckland.  You can see the entrance to the Bridge of Flowers out the window of the bookshop."
