Diane Chester-Demicco

Diane Chester-Demicco creates her nature-based glass, metal, and mixed- media sculpture and jewelry to reflect her great love of the natural world, both existent and fantasized.  An avid hiker, she explores  beaches and trails gathering inspiration that  she incorporates into her personal visions of natural phenomena: hidden earth minerals, uniquely shaped stones and layered slate walls, all tempered by ever-changing light.   Formally educated as a classical musician, she has embraced the study of glass kiln-casting and cold-working at the Corning Museum of Glass Studio, as an Artist in Residence at the Worcester Center for Crafts and  foundry-casting metals at the Massachusetts College of Art.

Each cold-worked and laminated glass pendant and stone aperture  pendant is unique—a miniature sculpture reflecting elements of her larger glass-work.  Please protect the jewelry from temperature extremes and store away from direct sunlight.  The pendants may be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth.
